Guerrilla Games has released the new Horizon Zero Dawn Update 1.09 on December 8 for PC (Steam) users along with the full list of patch notes for our viewing pleasure. If you own the PC Steam version of Horizon Zero Dawn, you should be able to download this update right now.

I checked my exe file in D: games Steam steamapps common Horizon Zero Dawn which has been modified on ‎7 ‎september ‎2020, ‏‎12:16:59. In game built-in Benchmark says version 8, i guess this means it is version 1.04. I wish they would be using this version instead of 8 which does not match release notes though. Patch 1.05 for Horizon Zero Dawn on PC is now available to download on your platform of choice! If your game does not update automatically, please restart your client. For Epic Games Store users: it’s come to our attention that you may not be running the latest version of the game if you do not open the game via the Epic Launcher.

There are no new features added into this update, as it is mainly centered around tons of bug fixes and crashes that have been addressed. We don’t have a file size yet, but it is recommended that you download this patch and install it right away.
